Dear Friends & Family,

I’M HEADED TO SRI LANKA! As you know this nation has been special to my family for over 20 years. Recently, while hosting our close friend, Pastor Bandu from Sri Lanka, for breakfast when he stopped the conversation and said, “Elisha, it is time for you to come and serve the people of my nation.” I felt immediately moved by this invitation and there was agreement with my parents to “send” me to the same nation they were missionaries to in 2006. 

I’m humbled and honored to say “yes” to this kingdom assignment by coming alongside the leadership of Pastor Bandu. He serves as the Senior Pastor of Good Shepherd Church in Kandy, Sri Lanka and as the President of the Pastors Association. I will be serving with the Outreach Team to facilitate medical clinics, coordinate food distribution, lead in Next Gen Evangelism while serving as staff at Good Shepherd Church. I have also been asked to come along aside the vision of the Pastors Association to unite & empower the Church of the nation. All this while completing my final semester of highschool!

Growing up in a ministry family, I recognize I have lived in a “bubble” and a radical change is what I need. I want to place myself in a season of holy discomfort to unlock personal growth, increase spiritual depth, and allow God to prepare me for the season ahead as I graduate from highschool. I want this season to mark me for the rest of my life. I never want to be the same and I’m believing the impact on the people of Sri Lanka will be powerful & eternal!

I believe in the power of partnership & agreement and I would like to ask you for both; to stand with me in prayer as we ask the Lord to build His church, for the lives of the Sri Lankan people to be transformed, and for the needs of many to be met.
